President's Message

Welcome to the Castle Rock Professional Firefighters Local 4116.

For more than 25 years, Local 4116 has proudly represented the firefighters who serve the Castle Rock community. Today, our organization represents more than 109 active firefighters who respond when our community needs us, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Our role extends well beyond the fire station. Local 4116 advocates for the people, resources, staffing, and working conditions necessary to provide excellent fire and emergency medical services as Castle Rock continues to grow. We also remain deeply involved in our community through charitable giving, public events, partnerships, and programs that support the people and organizations that make Castle Rock home.

Over the past several years, we have worked collaboratively with the Town Council, Town leadership, and the Fire Department Administration to make significant investments in our fire department and its people. Those efforts have helped strengthen staffing, improve firefighter recruitment and retention, add emergency response resources, and create a stronger voice for firefighters in decisions that affect our members and the community we serve.

In 2026, that relationship reached an important milestone when Castle Rock Town Council unanimously approved formal recognition of Local 4116 as the representative of Castle Rock's firefighters. It was the result of years of communication, trust, and a shared commitment to making our fire department and community stronger.

We are proud of the progress we have made, but our focus remains on what comes next. Castle Rock continues to grow, and the needs of its fire department will grow with it. Local 4116 will continue advocating for the resources necessary to keep pace while working collaboratively with our community and Town leadership.
